Italian Sunshine When We Need It Most

As the snow falls here in Seattle and we find ourselves grabbing a scarf and warm coat (and of course, an umbrella) on the way out the door, our minds wander back to the warmth of a quick trip we took last summer to the tiny 4km-long island paradise of Procida, Italy. What was once a small fishing and boat-building community has for the most part stayed the same. How refreshing, right?

We searched far and wide for a photo shoot location as bright and colorful as our umbrellas and landed on this hidden gem. Sitting in The Bay of Naples, Procida boasts the most vibrant, colorful scenes anywhere in Italy (no offense, Portofino) without the usual European summer crush of people. We certainly found what we were looking for. Color, beauty, and the odd Aperol Spritz. And today, in the middle of winter, a jolt of sunshine when we need it most. Here are a few of our favorites shots to help you forget all about the weather outside. Even just for a few minutes.
